Your ability to get a unit prior to Sept 1 is based upon your UY, not when you called. The Guides were covered on this issue. They may not want to admit it, but they were covered. I was told by Member Accounting on Tuesday that our dues will start based upon our UY. We may not like it but that's the way it is.

I think the fact that UY does not come into play here has been covered extensively in this and other threads. Those members that purchased early add-ons were only offered a Sept 1 occupancy date, regardless of their use year. Only later did DVC began selling July occupancy units. I have 2 UY's and it didnt matter.

new bldgs are very confusing..

I added on w/June UY and was told Sept was 'my' opening. So, pay dues and get 07 pts. not a big deal to me and that's what I worked with.

I borrowed from BWV 08 pts for a BWV trip this summer and will bank my AKV pts to next year. Next year we'll do 2 AKV trips and no BWV.
