AKV/BLT in August- Driving!!!!!

OMG it looks like I may be driving down this time.

It all good. We are stopping in New Bern, NC for a family reunion (a drive I have done plenty of times).

This is the first driving from NC to FL. The route is telling me drive back towards Fayetteville on US70 to catch 95. If I am on US 17 already, would it be easier to just take that as far south as I can and then get to 95.

Any input would be great.

There's a great thread on the transportation boards for 2000 plus miles roundtrip drivers! Tons are from the northeast and take 95 south I bet they could help you!
