AKV at 7 months - how likely?

My family and I are considering a trip to WDW in either May or Oct of 2009. Our home resort is VWL but we're thinking of adding on at AKV and would like to stay there before we buy. I'm under the impression that Kidani village will open May 1, 2009. How likely is it that we'd be able to get a studio for a week at Kidani in either May (week leading up to Memorial Day) or late October?

I think that the October stay would be more likely if more Kidani inventory comes about. As an AKV owner, I intend to call on August 10th and part of our vacation is the week before Memorial Day '09! Still, it won't hurt you to waitlist when the 7 month mark comes around. I hope you get something.

i was able to book AKV value studio @ 7 month beginning 10/18 this year...as i recall they had values, standard & sav avail - no concierge though

I think as long as you call at the 7 month mark exactly, you should be fine.
