AKV 2BR in July 2017, 11-month window, Need to Walk reservation?

Do you think there would be a need to walk a six-night (Sun-Sat) reservation in mid July 2017 for AKV 2BR (Savannah View, not CL)? I had been assuming this was not an issue as we (soon, I hope, sent 4/13) will own AKV and can book at 11 months out. But a discussion on CL which mentioned 2BR in passing (I didn't want to hijack the thread) made me wonder.

Any thoughts/comments appreciated.

No. The 7 month window should be easily achievable (at least for Kidani), even.

That's what I was hoping for. One of my nephews stayed in a Savannah View studio with his family once, but my kids have never stayed anywhere fancier than All-Star Music (which we all loved, btw). Looking forward to it

That was probably in regards to the number of DVC CL Villas. There are 5 2-bedroom lock-offs that make up the DVC portion of CL at AKV. A 2-bedroom lock-off is made up of a studio and 1-bedroom with an interior connecting door.

From about July 8 to July 31 is one of the lowest DVC demand times of the year at WDW. The room category and time you are seeking, whether at Jambo or Kidani, will still be readily available at 7 months out much less 11 months. As an AKV owner, you will have no issues getting any AKV room at any time of year at 11 months out other than potentially club level and value.
