AKV 2 BR lock off to 1BR-keep same room?

if I book a 2BR Lock off at AKV and then continue with a 1 BR, will I be able to keep same 1Br part? and does it make a difference at K or J? I know at Jambo all are LO, but at K, a 1 Br could be either. I don't want to have to swap out the main living area with food in fridge, etc. No availablity and not enoght pionts to keep 2BR for entire trip.

There is no guarantee you will be able to stay. You can request but it all depends on who is checking in that day.

For example, the 2 bedroom you are in may need to remain a 2 bedroom. For example, if you keep the 1 bedroom and that leaves a studio.

But, if someone needs a 2 bedroom and the only other 1 bedroom is next to a studio already occupied, it would leave the pieces not together.

You may be able to stay in the 1BR portion, but no guarantee. Be sure to mention it when you check-in.

I am taking my parents to Food & Wine. DH and I are staying a few days longer. We are at SSR. Member Services noted it’s on my reservation and said that they would try but no guarantee.

I have done a room downsize or upsize at least once a year for many years, always at Kidani, due to the extra bathroom.

When I first made the first reservation the CM said she would make a note on the reservation and told me to call a week or 2 prior to arrival and again the day of arrival. For Disney for you to stay means they are not making up a room. I don't know what the cost of this is but it is probably fair to say it is not far from what Disney charges if you want an extra cleaning. So they have a real money reason to help in addition to be RW&A to help, it is Disney.

All these trips were in JAN after the 3rd, some on MLK weekend and a couple during the races. It has always been possible.
