AKLodge at the 7-month point

So is it real hard to get a reservation at the 7-month point for AKL? And if not, which units are generally avialable at that point? I want to rent points to stay there next year for a few nights at the end of September, but I will be waiting until at least 7 months out.

I got a 7 month reservation a couple of times.

Studio savannah view Jambo - late April
Studio savannah view Kidani - mid June

A friend once got a conceirge 1 bedroom for late June at 7 months.

I don't think you will have a problem for late September (except maybe conceirge).

I have always had good luck getting rooms; right at the 7 month; I mean on the phone at 9:00AM when they open.

No, not looking at club level. Value, standard or savanna will do just fine. Looking into a bedroom hopefully.

Kidani...and yes, Kidani is probably easier since there are more rooms there. Plus, the 1 bedrooms have 2 bathrooms!!! The ones at Jambo do not.

Of course, the CS restaurant is at Jambo so that is a plus for staying in the main building.

As long as the end of September that you are looking for is not the first week of food and wine you should be fine- even then AKL is about the 5th to fill up for F&W but everything is booked earlier for that.

Ya, I would like to book as my first choice a studio, standard or savanna, actually two of them if my sister-in-law goes. Second choice would be a one bedroom for us all. Rather have two studios though. A one bedroom may be crowded, hugh? When is the first week of the food and wine festival anyways? I will try to check that out. May have to move the dates up a week if that would help get the rooms we want. But I would like to go to that as well.

I booked a savanah view studio st the 7month mark for sept 15-22. Both Kidani and Jambo were available at the time.

I booked a standard view 1BR at Jambo for the last week of January at the 7 month mark.
