Someone tell me about the bus situation at AKL? I'm requesting a room in Jambo house, close to the lobby. Where do I catch a bus? How often do they come? And how many stops do they make?? I don't want any surprises when I get there as I plan to shoot straight to MK on arrival day.

When you exit the lobby, the bus stops are to your left past the Zawadi Marketplace (maybe about 150 yards). They're labelled, so you just have to find the one for MK. Most routes stop at Kidani Village first, then Jambo, and then onto their destination. The DTD bus go from Jambo to Kidani and then onto DTD.

Generally, AKL is its own route (it doesn't share, as long as you consider AKL and AKV one resort). It usually shares a route with a couple of other resorts for Magical Express, but that's different.

Buses come every 15-20 minutes (I think). It never seemed like we had to wait very long for a bus to arrive.

The bus stop is to the left when you walk out the front entrance. The buses run every 20 minutes or so. They stop at Kidani first. We stayed at Jambo from June 9-14. A few times the bus crowded when we got on and we had to stand but most of the time we were able to get a seat.
