how would you go to the YC for dinner from AKL? Would you take a bus to AK to the YC ? Or a bus from AKL to Epcot, then walk to dinner. Our Kis are 1 and 4 if that helps.

I would choose the bus to mgm then the boat (or walk if you have a stroller) to the YC.

the trip from AK to the YC can be looooong. when we stayed at the yc, the bus to mk was fine, but the one from ak had extra stops, including a water park. just took forever.

after, if you have hoppers or were at epcot earlier, I'd head into world showcase and meander a bit before heading out and going directly from epcot to akl.

I second the idea - take bus from AKL to MGM and then boat to YC.

Bus from AKL to Epcot would take longer and be a bit of a walk, esp. w/ younger children.

I would take a cab, it would be 15 minutes and you wouldn't have all the transit. You could stay at your resort longer and enjoy the day not having to leave so early.

Yes, to the cab idea if you do not mind spending $$. We took a cab from AKL to BW a couple of years ago for dinner and the cost was about $15 and only took maybe 10 minutes.

For convenience, go the cab route.

If you want to do it via Disney transport, going by way of DHS involves a bus and a boat, while go via AK involves two buses. The travel time for both of these will be about the same, but going via the boat from DHS is more fun. Going via Epcot will involve a long walk from the bus drop off, all the way through FW, through WS to the IG exit and then to the YC. While I personally enjoy that walk, it would not be my first choice with two kids if I was trying to make a dinner reservation.

We went from YC to dinner at Jiko last trip....the cab was quick and easy.

Cab with young kids & really not that costly. Did it a few times last year. But your choice
