AKL - which pool do you prefer?

Do you prefer the pool at Jambo or Kidani? We’re staying at Jambo, but the slide at Kidani looks so much better! Would love to hear other people’s preferences. Is the shuttle between a long ride?

Either pool is fine to me. It's about a ten minute walk from Jambo to Kidani.

We much prefer Kidani, especially with kids. They have the splash pad, a kiddie slide and a much bigger water slide than Jambo. The Jambo pool is nothing special, IMO.

It’s a quick 10min walk between the two and they do have a shuttle.

Are there similar amounts of shade in both pool areas?

Kidani has the best waterslide, and Jambo has the best hot tub and small kids' water area. All AKL guests are allowed to use both feature pools.

We preferred Kidani! It was quieter and seemed a little more secluded. Also didn't like the fact that the Jambo pool is oddly gated. Didn't like having to walk in and out of gates to get to a different area of the pool.

Jambo. The pool is much bigger and did not feel as crowded.
