AKV and PVB Studios tend to be roughly the same difficulty to book at 7 months, with PVB being perhaps a bit more difficult. AKV one-bedrooms are relatively easy to book.We bought 125 poly points direct about 5 years ago and we are looking to add 125 more either poly resale or AKL direct. Talk to me about pros and cons of both.
AKV Maintenance Fee is a full dollar higher than PVB, meaning you're going to start off by paying $125 more per year in MF at AKV.
The primary reason to own at AKV is to have a chance to book a Value Room or a Club Level room. These go incredibly fast, even at 11 months.
If you want to ever stay in a Value or Club room, then buy at AKV. Otherwise, I'd save the dollar per point difference and buy at PVB.
