AKL - villas to two non theme parks

I am working figuring out the best way from Animal Kingdom Villas to:

1. Wilderness lodge for a 10:00 am breakfast

2. Hoop dee Doo

The transportation calculator online that I found shows for both of these to go to MK first then to then boat to the other places.

But wouldn't it be better to go to HS or Epcot for both and get on a bus back to the resorts. Seems like going to MK we pass the two resorts and back track.

Thoughts??

The most direct way is what they said - bus to MK, then boat to WL or Ft. Wilderness.

For HDD I would definitely go to MK and then take the boat to FW. When you get off the boat you will be just a short walk to Pioneer Hall where HDD takes place.

For WL, I think the best way, would be to take a bus to AK park and then switch to the WL bus.

Curious why this is the most direct..is it the roads they take or something.

VS going to AK then to Ft. wilderness.

Also at FT wilderness..do the buses leave you further away from pioneer hall....then the boat.

Going to Ft. Wilderness, the boat drops you off right by Pioneer Hall where HDDR is. If you take the bus, I believe it drops you off where you have to get the internal bus at Ft. Wilderness.

As for the Wilderness Lodge, it's probably a wash between bus to AK and bus to WL (that might be a bit quicker) or bus to MK and boat to WL. My family would always pick a boat or monorail option over the buses, because we don't like the buses.

Thanks this helps a lot...as I really wouldn't want to take the internal bus...I like the idea of the boat to hoop dee doo!!

and then AK to to WL....(we don't mind the regular buses).
