Wondering the differences between value/standard views between the studio and one bedroom categories of rooms at AKL DVC?

Value, which are only at the front part of Jambo, refers to size of room, smaller than any other categories. Value can have savanna (40%), pool (40%), or parking lot (20%) view. Standard have views of pool or roads leading up to Kidani at Kidani and pool (most) or some with partial savanna view at Jambo

yep, if you look closely at the point charts, there is no "value view" category.

value rooms are smaller. when the point charts say that a few 1BRs only accommodate 4 and a few 2BRs only accommodate 8, that is referring to the value rooms. value 1BRs lack the sleeper chair that would sleep a 5th person.

We just got back from AKV and lucked out with a "partial Savanna view" room booked as a standard room view. We stayed there for 2 nights then switched over to the concierge level for 7 nights. We got the savanna view for the concierge. To be honest, our "partial savanna view" view was better than our savanna view! At one point we had 4 giraffes right outside the partial view room. On the concierge, I think only 2 days of the 7 we saw giraffes and it was only one or two each time! Trade off, we were the 5th room down the hall (above the suspension bridge in the lobby!!!!)

Please be aware, that our partial view was probably a fluke, and should be in no way be expected. I will upload pictures once I put them to photobucket!
