AKL value studios

I am wondering how these value rooms at AKL Jambo are distributed by Disney. I am renting points for next spring, and have a value studio. But one night of my vacation is not available so I am wait listed. I checked the regular Disney reservation site and the value studio is available to to general public for that nite.. yet wait listed for DVC members? How can that be?

DVC inventory and Disney Resorts inventory are two entirely separate pools. Availability in one does not mean availability in the other.

I agree....but I would like to know why DVC is turning over value (and sometimes concierge) inventory to CRO. Since there are so few value and concierge rooms available, I would think those should be the last rooms to be sent to CRO.

Does anyone have any knowledge of why DVD would do this?

Never really thought much about this. Maybe it is a case that they are high demand and therefore have a better chance of being booked by CR. I also suspect that the held inventory is specific per the deed and therefore the room. Just a guess.
