AKL upgrade

Who has gotten an unexpected up-grade at AKL? At what time of year did you receive it? Dh and I were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded from a standard to savannah view over Halloween weekend this past year. The resort had seemed fairly busy, so we really hadn't expected this.

I was just upgraded from standard to savannah view this past January. My sister was upgraded from standard to pool view in the 1st week of this month.
