A little later
visit to Animal Kingdom during the 4th July!!
We arrived in America from the UK on 25th June, we had arranged our daughters 10th birthday to be extra special, as she was born on the 4th July!
Our wonderful experience began by firstly, booking Animal Kingdom Lodge Savanah views with Dreams Unlimited, they organized a meal at Crystal Palace on the 4th July!! Prepared an indepth itinery and the service was perfect throughout our stay!!
We stayed in a villa with a pool until 3rd July, we then organized a limo service to Animal Kingdom Lodge, Atlantis Limos where the ultimate transportation service I have EVER experienced!! My daughter and 3 year old son thought they were super stars for the day (my wife did, but she did not say!) I felt their service was very cost effective and totally professional! The guy with my son on his shoulders is the owner-you NEVER get this service in the UK!!
When we arrived at AKL we had booked a savannah view, but we where initially given a view near the pool at the rear, which we promptly complained and where moved. We where given room 3423, this was ideal to see the animals in the morning and later in the afternoon. This is a typical view from our balcony! I never thought we would see animals this close
On the 3rd July our meal was booked at the hotels restaurant, WOW!! They had a birthday surprise.
On the fourth of July, we went to AKL, visited the normal places to hassle the characters! Then back to the hotel for a quick swim! So cooling. At 8pm we went to Crystal Palace for our meal-I never thought I could eat that much!
Then to see the Castle in the magical colours of America, that was something.
On the morning of the 5th July we left for our villa, leaving a piece of us at Disney, so we can go back and collect it next time!!
