AKL transportation

We stayed at AKL in 2008 & loved it. We were very happy w/the buses b/c they were very efficient & it never took more than 15 min to get anywhere. We will stay there again our next trip, but wanted to know if there is now an additional stop for Kidani Village. Do they have their own buses or does Kidani Village guests walk to AKL to catch bus? Just trying to figure out how it works w/the new bldg.

We stayed at AKL shortly after Kidani opened. The buses picked up at Kidani first and then dropped of at Kidani first. The only bus that stopped at Jambo first was the Downtown Disney.

I agree that the AKL bus transportation is quite good. I have stayed there several times (but all before Kidani opened) and never had any real issues with the buses. However, I would point out that I have timed the bus ride to the various parks on numerous occasions and the drive to MK has always taken around 18 - 20 minutes.

This was my experience as well. It has made the bus service take longer... but nowhere near as long as the monorail resorts where they share busses between 2-3 resorts each time.

Agreed. We where there last summer, and it wasn't any worse than resorts that have multiple stops within the resort.
