AKL to Poly

Hi, Im new to the site. I am SO excited to be planning our 1st trip, which is now 44 days away!!!! We will be driving to FL and staying at the AKL. We have an ADR at Ohana one evening and I dont know the best way to get there. Should we drive ourselves, take the bus, or monorail? We also hope to stay for Wishes afterwards.

I would take the bus to MK and then take the ferry or the monorail, but I prefer to not drive on vacation.

If you would rather drive, you could just park at the Poly. Or if you're planning on staying more than 3 hours, you should park at the TTC and walk to the Poly.

If you take the bus to MK there is also a smaller boat (launch) that goes directly to Poly. It is probably a little slower than taking a monorail but it is a nice ride.

If your car ends up near your room, I would vote for driving. Free parking if you are staying on property and coming to dinner.

If you take the bus to from Animal Lodge to Magic Kingdom, it is only a 5-minute walk from Transportation central to Polynesian, so don't feel obliged to enter and wait for a monorail. Just walk the landscaped walk under the track.

But remember, the bus from AKL will let you off at the bus terminal in front of the MK, not at TTC.
