Full disclosure - I'll have my car on this visit, but I really hate to drive when I'm at Disney.
So here is what I'm thinking:
*Take the bus from AKL to Disney Hollywood Studios and,
a. take the boat back to Kouzzina, or
b. walk from the studios to Kouzzina
Then I would just ride the busses from from the Boardwalk to DTD and back home to AKL.
Wouldn't this be much quicker than initially going from AKL to DTD to connect to the Boardwalk on the first part of the journey?
We are just stopping at DTD on the way back to AKL for additional entertainment and perhaps an indulgence at Ghiradelli...

Hope this makes enough sense for someone to answer. Thanks!

How long it will take will really depend on how you hit the busses. If you just miss the bus to the Studios and have to wait for the next one, then miss the boat, it could take a while. This would be the case even if you went from AKL to DTD. You just can't be sure how long it will take.

If it were me, I would definitely use the car. Quicker all the way around. This is the reason we rent a car every trip....so we can go between resorts.

Have fun!

I would take the bus from AKL to DHS, then walk to the Boardwalk..unless the boat was right there at the dock or about to come in. It really is faster to walk if there is any kind of wait.

I appreciate the input. I thought the walk from DHS to BW would probably be a manageable option, but I wasn't sure. I also agree with the comment concerning the timing of the boats and busses, but generally we have good transportation karma.
The car is a last resort if we don't have the time to make our dinner reservation.

How long is the walk?

Thanks again-

It is a good 15-18 minute leisurely walk from the bus stops.... I thought it would be less than that, but when you add in the time for getting off the bus and walking over to the walkway...

O.K., good to know...although I'm sure I'll need the walk more after dinner than before!
peace-out :hippie:

If you walk from DHS to the Boardwalk remember to cut through the Luna Park pool, you'll see a hallway with a bathroom by the pool that leads to the Boardwalks inner courtyard,it's a little shortcut to avoid walking around the whole Boardwalk.
