AKL to hoop de doo easiest way to get there?

We just hopped the bus to MK and took the boat over to Ft. Wilderness. It was a breeze! Maybe 25 minutes total?

We even had our own car, but I thought the bus from the front of FW would be a longer time.

You could drive to one of the MK resorts and park, then take a boat to FW. If you have the earlier seating you might try to catch the Electrical Water Pagent and Wishes from the beach @ the Poly. Have Fun!

Parking at the MK resorts is reserved for guests staying at the individual resorts, or those who have dining reservations at one of the resort restaurants. If you are not a guest of the individual resort they may not let you park there, or they may issue you a 3-hour dining pass only. Much better to take the bus to the Magic Kingdom and then the boat to Fort Wilderness.

I will be staying at the Grand Floridian. Do they have a boat that goes to FW??? Or do I need to go to MK to catch one??

Thanks.

There is a boat that takes GF and Poly guests to the MK, so that is an alternative to the monorail. But there is no direct boat from GF to Fort Wilderness, so you will need to go to the MK and transfer to the Fort Wilderness boat.

If you aren't planning on going to MK that night anyway, I would drive to the FW parking lot and take the bus. It really doesn't take that long at all. We went to HoopdeDoo a couple of weeks ago. I had to drive and pick up a prescription so I parked in the lot and took the bus. My husband and two of our kids took the monorail from GF and then the boat from the MK. Returning I beat them easily back to the room. Going I think I did as well but not as sure because am not totally certain when they left the room.

when we did the Hoop, we got to Pioneer Hall by taking a bus from MGM to Ft. Wilderness. When the driver overheard we were going to the Hoop, he took us directly there on the bus! After it was over (GREAT show and food!), we had planned to take a bus back to Epcot and than walk back to our resort (Dolphin). Instead, there was a bus for each resort waiting! The driver said they try to do this for every show since there is such a need. He said it is hard to plan on it but that they can usually work it out.

Have a great time!

Kyle
