AKL to Ft. Wildersness - best way to get there?

We are staying at AKL and I just booked a Haunted Carriage Ride, so, what's the best way to get to Ft. Wilderness from AKL and how much time should we give ourselves to do it? TIA!

Bus from AKL to MK, boat from MK to FW, short walk from the FW dock to the carriage ride, if it still leaves from the Settlement area. For most any resort to resort transfer you should allow about an hour as a general rule(this is one of those allow and hour and enjoy the resort if you are early)

If you're looking for a quick way I'd say to take a cab. It'll cost you about $25 and take 20 minutes.

If you want to take Disney transportation plan for about an hour travel time. You'll have to take the bus to MK and then the boat over to Ft. Wilderness.

If the timing's right, you might be able to watch the MK fireworks or the Electric Water Pageant while you're waiting.

OOH!! Hadn't thought of that. Our carriage ride ressie is for 8 PM!
