AKL to Contemporary - bus or drive car?

We are staying at AKL and have a Boma reservation at 4:40. We will leave immediately after for the Contemporary because we have tickets for the Pirates and Pals Boat Cruise.
Trying to figure out how to get there...
- Take a bus to MK, then take the monorail to Contemporary (would take forever!)
- Drive our car
- Or.... ?

If you do not want to drive, take the bus to the MK and then walk to the CR. Walking over to the monorail from the MK bus stop will take about the same amount of time as walking to the CR (and then you'll have to wait for the monorail). It's about 10 minutes from the bus stop to the CR lobby and then you just walk through the resort to the marina - so maybe 15-20 minutes, depending on how fast you walk.

I'd be tempted to drive, unless the wait for a bus to the MK is less than 15 minutes away when you walk out of Boma. When we stayed at Kidani, they had electronic displays in the bus shelters that let you know when the next bus was due - they updated in real-time. Awesome! Anyway, I'm assuming they also have them at Jambo.

I would drive. Not only do you have to wait for transportation to get there you would have to wait for it to get back to AKL after your cruise.

If you really don't want to drive then the PP has a good suggestion to walk from the MK bus stop.

I would also vote to drive or take a taxi over using the buses. I don't mind the buses, but they aren't always the most time efficient option.

When you take a bus to MK you don't have to get on the monorail. A bus to MK will drop you off at the MK gates.
