AKL Sunset Safari

Has anyone out there done this? We are staying concierge for the first time(!) and are seriously thinking of doing this. Anybody out there have details or pros/cons? I'd have to put my kids in the club there - I have a 12 year old - who is allowed on the safari, but by nine year old isn't. Is it worth the hefty price tag?

My DD22 and I did the Sunset Safari in March and loved it. Unless, they have changed things, it is for ages 16 and up, so your 12 year old can't go. I would check on this before getting his/her hopes up.

We did the Suset Safari in Jan of this year and it was great. It is run on Mon, Wed and Fri and you must be 16yrs or older to be on the safari unless you buy out the entire safari which is eight people then the ages of the people do not matter. It is $150 per person. It was a great time and we plan on doing it again in Jan 2005.

I will be at AKL concierge in December and have booked the Sunset Safari...FYI the new age is 12 or older...there is a white sticker over the old printed concierge itinery planner info they send that indicates the new age

Tiffany..it doesn't say any number it just says space is limited ..by the way days are now Monday Wednesday and Friday
