Hi
Does anyone have a website or pictures of both concerige levels and suites at AKL and GF? Which one do you or would you prefer?
I have a rate with the new package system for AKL
for the Deluxe Savannah view for 8815, and the concerige level for 10,722.
This would be for Dec 15th to Jan 2nd..
I have always in the past gotten AP rates, so I don't know if this is good or not.

Also, if you don't use all the days on the hoppers, can you use them on another trip?

Sorry, I can't help you but I have a question for you. How did you get a quote for the new packages? I thought no info was available until Jan. 2. Thanks.

Well, I guess it was the new package, it's on the website, and I have the ability to add everything. I'm not up to par when it comes to the new disney lingo..

Thanks for the answer. I haven't checked the WDW site for that kind of info since before Christmas. I'll give it a try.

On the community board there is a thread about concierge lizard longes. You may have to do a search. Some folks on that thread have stayed at AKL and GF and may have pictures. We've stayed in Sugar Loaf at the GF and really enjoyed our stays but I don't have any pictures of the lounge. We've never stayed in a suite at WDW.

Janet2K has stayed in suites in both resorts I think. You could try a search for her reports.

Have fun whichever you decide.

I've stayed in a suite at teh AKL, and in CL at the GF, and would opt for the AKL in a heartbeat--the service is SOOOO much better, and many of the suites at teh GF are in teh outer buildings, so you need to go to the main building through potentially bad weather to reach the lounge.

We stayed at the GF in the concierge suite (SugarLoaf building) and I actually prefer to be out of the main building--so crowded and noisy there, and the concierge offerings in our building were great.

Go to www.allearsnet.com for a ton of pictures--I've never been to the AKL but I can tell you that the suites at GF were beautiful (we are very picky, too, and have been to a lot of nice hotels!)

I have stayed in two different two-bedroom suites at the GF. Both were lovely. I have stayed in a one-bedroom suite and a two-bedroom suite at the AKL. Both were lovely. I have a few photos of a few of those suites (and other suites/villas) in my on-line photo albums: click here (the suite albums are broken down by rooms -- and each "album" has the same cover so it should be pretty easy to pick out the suite photos -- I hope that makes sense). I also have photos of the GF's & AKL's lounges. (Note: I apologize in advance for some of the LARGE photos in my albums -- Yahoo messed them up AGAIN recently and I just haven't had the time to repair the photos.)

Which is my favorite resort? Both of 'em.

Never stayed in suite at AKL or GF, but have done concierge at both.

AKL is so much better. Food wise/service wise. AKL wins hands down. We will never stay at GF again.
