AKL standard rooms?

Is there a possibility that standard rooms could have bunk beds in them or a semi pool view. Could you ask to have bunk beds requested on your reservation?

You can ask for them. On our last trip three years ago, we made that one of our requests (non smoking as well then). Not only did they honor the bunk beds, but they also upgraded us to a Savannah view.
We have two kids, one boy and one girl. So bunk beds made much more sense for us, and I also mentioned that my girl slept better by herself, due to her seizure problems. (really needs a good night's rest)
I don't know if that helped our case or not, but feel free to put your requests in when you call.
