AKL Standard Room Request

We are staying at AKL 10/23-10/28. We have children ages 3 and 6 and plan to spend a lot of time in the parks with a little back and forth for rests. I have been reading about the best standard room requests and am torn between requesting a room that might have a partial Savannah view and requesting a room in the zebra trail close to the buses. Sure it would be nice to be able to see a little bit of hte animals from the room, but I am thinking that with a tight schedule and tired little kids, being close to transportation might be more important. What would you do? Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Well if it was me, I wouldn't make a request at all and hope for some pixi-dust and get a free upgrade.

I booked a Std View also, same as my last stay and requested close to lobby and elevators although most Std view rooms if staying in Jambo are on the ostrich and Giraffe trails and floors 1-4 from what I understand
