Help me figure out the ups and downs of these two resorts. We stayed at CSR last year and loved it. Stayed in the Ranchos and it turns out, we as a family completely loved the longer walk to admire things and it forced us to slow down and be on vacation.
Next June we are planning another trip and AKL has popped up as a desired option. Let's leave money out of this topic. Please help me find the merits and flaws of the resort itself.
So far, AKL has my hackles up since I have an 8 year old son and AKL has a more eclectic food offering to it. While he does like to experiment with food and is rarely very picky...I don't want to find out he really hates African food while he love Mexican.
Rooms?
Transportation?
Food?
Weirdness in general?
My fiancée and I like the fact that both resorts are not SO Disney and it offers an escape for the "BUY ME STUFF" that is often in your face.
