AKL Simba's Cubhouse?

Hi all,
We are planning a Jan 2017 trip, and have a reservation at Sanaa for dinner. We were planning it as our date night, and dropping our son at Simba's Cubhouse for a few hours. I saw somewhere a vague reference to plans for the cubhouse to close, but couldn't find any other information. Anyone know more?

I have not heard anything about Simba's Closing. I know the "Den" at Wilderness closed. If you do find out more about Simba's, please post here.
