Hello: Is there a savannah that is more popular than the others. I want to stay here for a couple of days at the end of our disney holiday, so I will do a split stay.

Deb.

Just depends on your preference.

From allears:
Each savanna has its own unique look and feel. Not all savannas have all the animals. For instance, ostriches can only be found on the Sunset savanna, zebras are only located on the Arusha savanna, kudu are only found on the Uzima savanna. Giraffes are the only animal found on all three savannas.

I feel like Sunset has zebras now, though.

Great great Question! We're staying for a few days in February. I had already decided on the sunset savanna but another question is lower or higher floor. Are ther bushes along the ground floor that we need to avoid? Which is better for animal viewing?

Just depends. I prefer a lower floor to be closer to the animals. There aren't bushes on the lower floors you need to avoid, but there are trees. The higher floors get a better view of the whole savanna, but the tree tops can get in the way.

We had a lower floor. You can see the trees and how the tops might obstruct some of the animal view. There is a website (you'd have to google it. Not sure what it's called) that has views and room numbers to show you what the different levels look like.

We stayed in a third floor room overlooking Sunset Savannah. I felt it was a perfect elevation above ground level but not so high that the tree tops light block your view. Requested that floor due to good advice from these boards. Have fun!!

We also stayed on the third floor, which is the same as the lobby. We requested the highest floor prior to arrival, but there was no room ready when we arrived. Probably turned out for the best because the CM at the front desk suggested that a lower floor would have a better view than an upper floor. The upper floor view may be blocked by tree tops. We were in the "35xx" section, I believe 3531 and we were directly in front of a pond. We spent a lot of time in the room and enjoyed seeing the animals visiting the pond.
