AKL Savannah View Question

Last year when we stayed at AKL, we checked out the resort, and picked our favorite area, knowing we would return. Now I cannot remember what savannah we liked the best! I do remember it was directly opposite the pool area. (One side of the corridor had pool view, and the other side had (I think) the best view in the entire resort. I remember that when you looked out onto that savannah, there was no "people pen" or other lodge building in the way. Has anyone stayed there and is it as nice as I think? If so, what would I request to get a room there?

It sounds like the Arusha Savannah to me. Do you remember which animals you saw?

No, it was not Arusha. We stated on the Zebra trail, overlooking Arusha savannah last time. I can't remember which savannah it is!

Sounds like Uzima savannah. Do you remember seeing any Zebra? If you did, it must have been Arusha Savannah. Zebra Trail has pool view, Arusha view, and Uzima view rooms depending on where you are located. Depending on where you are will also depend what kind of view. The trails are very long, but worth the walk! Good luck and have a wonderful trip!
