Here it says that the only difference between a standard two queen and a deluxe to queen is a chair. Do the deluxe two queen have a day bed? I would have thought that they did. Thanks

I'm told that, no, even the DELUXE rooms with 2 queens have no daybed. For my party of 5, we have been told we'll be in a room with 1 queen bed, 1 bunk bec set and 1 daybed. This works fine for us, but as the rooms are larger I can't quite understand why no daybed in the 2Q rooms. I got this info from the AKL concierge, as well as the reservationist, so I do believe it. Just so I don't have to be in the TOP BUNK!!

Here's a link to Disney's site with the room layouts for AKL. According to this, no there is no daybed, just an extra chair. Not sure why they wouldn't put in the daybed?

Not all deluxe rooms have a daybed.

I understood that some, but not all, deluxes have the daybed. I think there may be 2Q plus daybed and I know there are 1Q, BB and daybed configurations. As to why they don't all have them, some groups may prefer the extra floor space, plus it's one less thing to buy and change sheets on.
