AKL room request recommendations

We (DH, DS15, and DS11) are staying at AKL for the first time next month. We will be Club level, so I understand most of those rooms are on the same floor. Is that accurate? Also, any particular recommendations for room requests? I know they can't guarantee anything, but I'd love to hear your opinions on rooms as well as any other AKL tips. Thank you!

The Club lounge is on the sixth floor. The AKL Club rooms are on the fourth floor.

Yes, all the CL standard rooms are Arusha View on 4th floor. I requested Zebra Trail, because I wanted to be on the same side of the resort as the pool. If you want you can request to be near an elevator.
If you are on Kudu trail, you have to go to lobby, cross over to other side and go down either by stairs o elevator to pool. Not a huge deal, just more convenient IMO to be on Zebra trail, and can go straight down to pool without having to cross lobby.
