AKL room request choices changed

Hello!
We will be at AKL at the end of the month and I had already done my online check in. We booked a standard room and for the room request choices I had picked kudu trail and near lobby. Today I logged back in to double check everything, and my kudu trail choice was gone. I had to pick a different request because kudu trail wasn't even in the drop down list anymore. What does that mean?

Well that sucks. I am really wanting to switch to here from the Beach Club for our February trip and this was one of the request I was going to pick if we booked a standard view room. May just have to go with a pool view room, if we make the switch. Uggh, more money, but I really want a somewhat decent view.

Call and request manually. The online checkin checkboxes have never been especially specific, or, in many cases, suitable for some room types.

Oh okay, I didn't know that! I figured if it was in the menu it was fair game. Thank you for the tip!

Might be something in the ap, my poly request was half deleted as well. Some of the choices I know apply (for example Tuvalu longhouse for TPV) are no longer available in the drop down. I second to call and request if its important to you.

Basically, recently Disney IT put a lot of stuff in those menus that was NOT fair game. Connecting rooms at resorts/room types where that is physically impossible. Requests for Club-Level-Only buildings for Standard rooms. Mayhem.

It looks like that got overcorrected.
