AKL restaurants

I was told that there is a place to eat in the AKL where you look out over the Savanah. Is this true? We don't have time to do all the parks, as we will only be in a for a brief visit.

Thought this could be a fun alternative, since we have to find a little time to eat. Hoping you would know :0)


Also, would you do Chef Mickey's or Ohana's for the character breakfast?

My kids really like Chef Mickey's.

We ate at Boma's & Mara at AKL, but we couldn't see the savannah. I'm not sure about Jiko.

We have eaten at Boma, Mara, and Jiko. None of these restaurants overlook the savannah. All of them have windows that look toward the pool area. The only way to eat while viewing the animals is to get room service in a savannah view room.

I agree, you can't see the savannah from any of the AKL restaurants, but I highly recommend them. Boma for a great buffet, Jiko for a lovely sit-down. Mara is a quick service place, good, but not for a special dinner. You can walk out to the savannah viewing area after dinner.
