AKL requests

We will be staying at AKL Savannah view for the first time. Any suggestions of a location I should request? Are there animals that can only be seen from certain room locations? Any other requests I should/could make? Are there small fridges in the rooms?

you've basically got 2nd-4th floor and either kudu or zebra trail. Personally, I like zebra trail's views better just because of the sun's position. Then, you're really just thinking about how far off the lobby you want to be on the horseshoe and whether or not you want to be near the elevators. yes on the fridges.

In our experience all the savannas at AKL have the same mix of animals. We tend to stay on Kudu trail, often with a view of the Sunset Savanna (it is the one between the DVC building Kidani and Jambo House). The main savanna (Arusha) is the one you can see from the lobby.

There will be a wildlife guide in your room.

Ask for as close to the lobby as possible. It can be a long walk to the end of those hallways.
