AKL question

Hello!
I have not stayed at the AKL since the construction began. We like to stay in the pool view rooms, and I was wondering if the construction is loud in these rooms? Can we request to be away from the construction if possible (we have 3 under 5 that take naps!!)? We love the AKL and we will be going in October.

If you have pool view then you shouldn't be affected at all by October. When I was there in early April and again in mid-May, the construction which would've affected guests with pool view rooms, was work on the 5th floor. These rooms are being turned into DVC rooms. I believe it's scheduled to be completed by September.

The work that is going on in the building should be done by October except possibly on the 6th floor. By October the construction should be way over on the opposite side of the property.
You should request Giraffe Trail to avoid any problems
