AKL pool

We will be heading to AKL this Oct for our 20th anniversary trip. We have mapped out our days and have already made our dinner reservations too. We usually spend very little time at the resort because our kids 18 and 12 love the parks as much as we do. This trip we are staying for almost 2 weeks and figure we will have a slower pace romantic trip. We have about 4 crazy go go go days but the other days we plan to head to the parks first thing in the morning for 3-4 hours and then
plan to have resort time. Drinks by the pool sound amazing. Can you tell me your favorite things about the AKL pool and even the pool bar. We are not huge drinkers but do enjoy a drink now and again.

Nothing specific, but I rate the AKL pool A+. It is really nice! And you have the added benefit of taking a short walk to one of the savannahs that can only be seen from the pool area. There will be pool activites every afternoon so if you're looking for quiet time, just check their schedule.
