AKL points

Does anyone know or can tell me where to look to find the points needed for AKL, Deluxe Savannah rooms? And concierge? On the DVC site, it just list a standard room.

I believe the standard view rooms are all that are available on points. At some times of the year, you will be upgraded to Savannah view do to availability, but that is not guaranteed. Concierge is another situation completely.

IMHO, the Savannah views are the ONLY worthwhile rooms at AKL. The standard views are all of the parking area...and I MEAN parking area!

Others on this board have been told specifically by ms that the points for AKL are for a deluxe savannah view room. At least one board member was told otherwise upon check in at AKL....so I believe it remains to be seen what rooms are really being given/are supposed to be given on points. If you compare points cost to the cash cost we *should* be looking at a room in the $250+ per night range (in comparison with the Poly and YC/BC standard views) which would be at least a savannah view if not deluxe savannah view.

I myself am waiting to see how this plays out before reserving AKL on points....
