AKL or WL for Dec. Trip?

I have reservations for Dec. at AKL but am tempted to try and switch to WL. We've stayed twice in Dec. at WL, love it, so I'm torn between trying something new or going back to where I love. What would you do?

We enjoy the boat ride from WL to MK and know that we will just have buses at AKL?

We will be staying at WL Dec 16 - 21 for our first stay. I can't wait to be at the lodge for the holiday decorations. We've stayed at AKL before and loved it, but for the holidays, I have heard you can't beat WL!!

We're heading to WL 12/15-12/19. I've switched the ressie several times from POFQ to WL to BC to WL. What a pain I have been. I'm excited to see WL dressed up for Christmas! We stayed here on our honeymoon and it's a beautiful resort. We visited AKL for breakfast at Boma and it's very nice as well.

We contemplated the same decision before our trip this past July. My son loves animals so AKL was at the top of our list until we heard about the WL.

We choose the WL and did not regret our decision at all. We loved every second of our stay. WL is supposed to be the best "dressed" resort for Xmas.

However, AKL does decorate and it would definitely be unusual. I have heard mixed results on the transportation at AKL so good luck on your decision.
