akl or wherelse to stay

back from 2 weeks at akl thinking about where we will go next year, any suggestions? would like to stay on disney and have previously stayed at movies. Trouble is, we loved akl and would be happy to go back but would also like to go somewhere new?

I'm biased but I say The Polynesian Resort. Out of all the Disney Resorts we have stayed at, this is our favourite. You have the monorail to MK and Epcot, Magic Kingdom in view and glorious white sand beaches with tropical theming. I have a link to our most recent trip report (with pictures) below.

You really can't go wrong with any disney hotel. I loved the Boardwalk, and the Contemporary was great also. I have never stayed at the Polynesian, but I have walked throught it and it seems like a great hotel. The only hotel that I would not recomend is POR. I stayed there recently and did not like it, however, there are many people who really like staying there. I guess it all depends on what you are looking for in a hotel.

I am sure all the Disney Hotels are really nice. I would love to try them all. We are now DVC members so I am sure one day we will!

I would love to go to AKL and just waiting for a DVC resort to be built!!!

GF for Deluxe and POFQ for Moderate.

At the moment I fancy both the Contemporary and the Poly because the rooms at both are being refurbished and they look fabulous.

Our favorite deluxe is the GF and moderate is POFQ!!!
