AKL or CSR

Which would you pick.. I have CSR at 139.00 a night .. would you upgrade to AKL for 174.00 a night? Help me decide. thanks.

That's a great price for AKL so I would definitely book that over CSR.

Ok.. besides the animals.. what can I tell my husband about this place over CSR? Can you help me with the details?

AKL is more of a "real" hotel. Indoor corridors, elevators to get around, valet parking in front (maybe CSR does valet too). Several restaurants right there off the lobby and easy to get to from your room. Very interesting animal watching areas. Extremely pretty lobby. Daily entertainment from tours to story tellers to campfires. They also have a kid's club (Lion King theme). For $35 more I'd probably go to AKL, and I like CSR a lot.

Biggest downside of places like AKL is that the parking lot is a bit of a hike from your room. AKL is right by the Animal Kingdom, but about 4-5 minutes farther away from MK and EPCOT, and perhaps 1-2 minutes farther away from Disney Studios and Downtown Disney as compared to CSR.

I second all of the above!

People tend to say that AKL is too far away and the buses take long, but on the upside the buses are dedicated for AKL only, so there are no stops at other resorts along the way.

Also, the pool is HUGE and beautiful, and I found the staff to be fabulous resort-wide. We loved it so much in Oct we're going back in May!

No Brainer for me......
AKL for sure!!! ...... even though we love CSR .... can't beat a price like that!!!
