AKL on Travel channel, 1/24/03

It's on at 12:30 PM east coast time, 9:30 west coast. Can't wait to see it! I've seen the GF, YC/BC & the Wilderness Lodge- I hope this one is as good!

Read your message just in time to catch this show. My daughter is home due to snow, so we both got to enjoy it. Now she's dying to go see the AKL!

Wow----it was impressive to say the least! I don't know if it would be somewhere I would want to stay at, but I would certainly like to try and visit when we are there next month. Very neat! I love these Travel Channel shows because each one I have seen gives you a nice taste of the parks- more realistic that the travel videos Disney sends you. For example, the show today showed more than just a snipet of the Festival of the Lion King- same with the Dinosaur ride and the Safari. I had my 5 year old watch it so he knows what to look forward to. He really likes dinosaurs, but the snipet they show on the Disney video has him freaked about the dinosaur ride (All they show is the big scary dinosaur growling at you) where as on this show today they showed a little more and he didn't seem as scared. We'll see!

That was a neat show! Now my kids want to stay at the AKL in Concierge of course!!! They were bummed they did not show the pool though.

I've seen AKL on the travel channel and it was great! The only one I haven't seen yet is the GF.
