Elin-that was so much fun to watch! I never thought I was a cruise person but if ever I did one that would be the way to go...in fact I looked up the new cruises for next year-and there's a shortish one-7days-that starts in Barcelona and goes around Spain and Portugal and ends in England (in Dover)...add on a couple days either in Barcelona or London...that would be an awesome trip...special birthday, anniversary, winning some money...


Wendypooh-glad your surgery was sucessful and your are well... but....ummm.... I have a question about that photo of the zebra domes...well I kind of thought this was a wholesome family oriented thread and that photo of those zebra domes is well kind of...there is no other way to say it...HOT...I think I'm going to have dreams about sexy zebra domes whispering my name...

It appears to be a genuine Disney video of the fireworks that were set off as the Magic came into port in Barcelona, Spain. And, Roberta... I am not certain, but I would think there were a couple of Mickey head fireworks!

brookelizabeth-I've finished reading both of your trip reports and enjoyed them very much...it is so much better if someone has to be sick for it to be you than your baby...-my little guy (who is 6 1/2 now) was also one for continuing to eat after getting sick...-it always freaked me out a little because I couldn't imagine wanting to eat after all of that but somehow he wanted too and when they're looking at you for food-well what are you going to do? And while I can't beat your story of Henry at Chef Mickey's...My older one (DD 14) well...um...leaked...while DH and I had lunch at the Whispering Canyon Cafe...she was about 4 and had fallen a sleep on the booth bench while we were eating and when we woke her......suffice it to say she doesn't like to talk about it now...

There is still a bit left of the current TR, one more 1/2 Disney day and the travel home. So stay tuned!

During both trips we tried to keep laughing about it all-sure makes for memorable moments! I'll never forget telling Donald Duck, "Sorry, he smells-he just threw up everywhere!" Or the Ghetto Gas Station. Sigh. I'm sure they won't be memories Henry will appericate us bringing up years from now either!

So 2011 I plan on travelling to Papenburg to be one of the first on the DIS boards to see the Disney Dream!

That is GREAT!!!! I bet it will be just incredible. I can't wait to see pics and hear the details (hint hint! )

1. Are there ever any Disney Photopass Photographers in the AKL Lobby-i think I read that they've started this somewhere and

2. Does anyone know if they have AKL resort mugs for sale in the Marketplace-last time we were there they only had Animal Kingdom ones... and they are really big...I'd like some...I'm going to bring coffee and filters to have in the room-must have real coffee-or I become -and I'd love to buy some mugs to use and then take home as souvenirs...

1. We stayed in Jambo House in early March. In the evenings, I noticed them taking pictures in the lobby.

2. They do sell AKL mugs...at least as of last month. I bought mine a year or so ago but I noticed the same style was for sale last month. I love mine and am using it for my am tea right now. The mugs are large, tan, ceramic and have a slight concave shape. There's an embossed photo of the Lodge with animals in the foreground. It's sepia toned. Love it. I think there was also a travel mug style but I didn't pay much attention to that one. Sorry.

Well..... I had talked about a WDW trip with by best friend for quite some time and she mentioned that she might be interested to go in 2010. But it looks more like early February. When are you planning on being at WDW??

Will I get kicked off this thread if I admit that, while I do like the occasional zebra dome, I do find them too sweet and really preferred the dark chocolate mousse at Boma? It was just full of bitter-sweet chocolatey goodness...

Congratulations on doing so well with not smoking but exercising!! I restarted WW seriously again six weeks ago and was doing so great (lost 10 pounds so far ), but the last week has been so difficult... So it is inspirational to read about someone who sticks to what she decided to do!!
