I have been so busy! It is almost a month since I quit smoking And I walk every day now...I am up to doing 6 miles a day

Today I called DVC MS to order my ME for next month (I know I can do it online, but the 1 time I did, they messed up) and while I was there, I decided to book another trip
This one is a solo trip, ONLY ME!

I'm so excited...we are going back to AKL (the villas this time) in Dec again! we'll be there the Dec 13th-18th this time

Well, I started thinking about my 2010 WDW trip this weekend. I guess having the DVC member cruise in September and a solo trip in December wasn't enough planning. So it must be time to start working on the 2010 trip? Right?

On that trip, I will be taking my nephew, 13 at the time, to WDW for 8-10 days in August. He is psyched to be heading to WDW without his sister. My early plans will be to book an AKV SV room in September and then let him decide if he wants to go to a different resort.

That sounds great! It's never too early to plan future trips!

I would guess that whether Jambo CRO guest can use the Kidani DVC pool will come down to if WDW wants to pay for a portion of the capital costs and maintenance for the pool and surrounding area as like DVC pays for a portion of the common facilities including the pool at Jambo. Since the Kidani pool is the “fancier pool” at the resort it would make sense to have both shared to avoid the “sneaking” issue.

I just found the thread and I am so excited. I must say that I have bee a "lurker" since 2005!! I feel that I know Kimmar and Brookelizabeth. I have read all of your trip reports - and I feel right at home.

In 2005 I was reading to get prepared for our first trip to Disney World since 1996! This trip would be different - because we now have 3 kids!! I decided to stay at the AKL because of all of you!

We had a fabulous time in 2006 and went agian in 2008! This February we also bought points for AKV - we aren't sure when we will go again! We really want to go this summer, but have already planned a big trip.

I'm not worried - we have to go sometime and use those points!!

I must thank you all for the information and for the entertainment! I am no longer a lurker and now am posting my own trip report! I can see myself easily getting obsessed with the whole proces!!!

Now I must go and catch up on all the reading that I have to do on this thread!!!!!

I was thinking the same thing, regarding the AKV pools. Unless over-crowding becomes a problem, why not just let any AKL/AKV guest use either pool?!

I have all 3 lined up for our May/June trip: AKV-Jambo; then AKL-CL; then AKV-Kidani (1-bedroom Savanna view). Will only be at Kidani for 1 night, but will be sure to take lots and lots of pictures!

From what I've read, that is exactly what the situation will be. Guests of Kidani and Jambo will be able to use all facilities of both.

What a great trip you have planned. Can't wait to see your pictures.
