We're not expecting over-the-top, extravagant, crazy!! The most meaningful, memorable things in life are those things that come from your heart. That you took an idea and created something just for your wife will mean the world to her I'm sure.

And btw, you can PM me the details! I can't possibly wait 11 months to know what you're up to!

Heh heh...you ain't seen nothing yet. While it's a LONG way away, I'm really looking forward to writing THAT Trip Report.

I've talked a little about my plans for that trip, here, but I have to be super careful now. I know DW is "lurking" around the disboards so I gotta watch what I say so I don't give away the surprise.

Suffice to say, for those that remember, the planning of the surprise is going pretty well. I'm forgoing the "corporate" route and going a little more free form and handling the details myself. So far....so good.

Even without knowing the details it sounds great! Can't wait to hear all about it!!

I'm there with ya, Elin! But I look at it this way: in 26 years of marriage, my DH hasn't been inspired to plan a *celebration* - why should he change now?!! Besides, he probably knows I would be very suspicious of what he'd done that he felt he needed to "make nice" over!

Well, Elin, I think brookelizabeth had better hurry up and finish her trip report, because if you look at her newest ticker -- they're going back in ONE MONTH & 27 DAYS!!!! (I dare say they are "hooked"!!! )

Yes we are! DH is just as hooked as I am now! He is the one who suggested January, I was looking at later in the year. I love that man!

I did post SEVERAL updates today before we leave for the holiday weekend. I'm almost done with DHS day, then just AK, then DETAILS! At the rate I'm going, hopefully I can get that done next week for ya!

Black Friday (yup, wer're THOSE people)

We can participate in the Black Friday festivites this year because my cousin is getting married that day. I'm excited, but bummed we won't have time to hit the sales!

You have a very busy time ahead of you here, it will fly by and before you can exhale you'll be on your way.

...yeah, I HATE people who don't finish their 'trippies'......

That's good to hear! This is a last minute 3 day trip, so when I called they told me AKV was all booked up

For my dates I had the choice of VWL or OKW. I've heard a lot of good things about VWL, so I picked to stay there. It's definately an added plus that the resort is so close to the MK. Since the only thing we are doing is MVMCP and doing ALL of our X-mas shopping at DTD.

Did you see my VWL pics I posted for you on here? Probably about 10 pages back or so now. They are STUNNING! You'll love it there! And the boat to MK is very handy, though the bus ride is even quicker.

I think you share a bus with the GF when you go DTD, but WL is first, so you'll get a seat.

If anyone remembers, I ordered the Indaba as a surprise for my niece and nephew during our November trip. I just up-loaded my pictures so I figured that I would post a few here.

That is very cool!!! Who did you work with to arrange it? Was it in-room? We leave in 23 days (Whoo-Hoo!) and I was thinking we might need that.

I am really excited, there is a new deal on airfare from Germany to Orlando, so it looks like I might be able to make use of the great offer in January!!

I would be traveling again with my friend Carola, my travel companion from years past, DBF has declared that he has no interest in visiting a Disney park, but is happy for me to go.

Now we just have to decide, where we want to stay... AKL only has bunk bed rooms left over and this just doesn't work for us. Any suggestions? I am thinking of using the offer as a chance to splurge on a resort I normally would not want to pay for like the Poly or the BWI or the CR. I think this is just the intention WDW has with this offer Any input on where I should stay? We really don't spend that much time at the MK, but I absolutely love Wishes - and we love dining at the signature restaurants...
