Beautiful! I think I'm gonna cry... :sad1:
I know - I feel the same way...my best friend went down last week with her family for their first trip and said she chose AKL because I always rave about it...hope they liked it!

Hey there TyRy! :wave2: Beautiful pictures! :cloud9: If I didn't have my next AKL trip coming up in May, I'd be very sad right now. :guilty: (amazing how much we all miss that resort, isn't it?!)

Thanks for taking the blame on last Sunday's snowstorm! We have to blame someone for it!!! (Happy Anniversary by the way! :flower3:)

I haven't heard about the prime rib & Boma, but it wouldn't surprise me. Many of the other restaurants have taken those "prime" cuts of beef off their menus. Maybe it's just a temporary thing (we can hope anyway). :confused3

I know - I'm sad, but it's only something like six months to go (UGH!) And you're welcome about taking the blame for the snow storm :rotfl: We really didn't get that much up her (miracle of miracles) but DH just looked at each other and went "well, it is March 1st!"

Hopefully you or one of our other friends will be able to confirm the whole Boma/Prime Rib/Room Service when you hit AKL next time.

 Happy Anniversary TyRy!!!!!!!

What she said! :goodvibes

Great pictures TyRy - and Happy Anniversary! :goodvibes

Thank you all so much for the anniversary wishes

OH - and I recently read on another thread...no more prime rib at Boma???! :scared1: Can anyone confirm that, and is it also gone from their room service menu? We always ordered that our last night at AKL.

Thanks for the beautiful pictures! There was no prime rib at Boma in January. There was different cut of beef which I actually enjoyed much more than the prime rib. It was very tasty! But then prime rib is "exotic" food for me as a German! :goodvibes

Wow - we fell all the way to page 5 - is everyone at Disney? :goodvibes

You are very welcome and thank you for the info about the Prime Rib. I still really hope they have it for room service, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I thought it was sooo yummy. But then again, I'm really picky and that was one of the only things I really liked at Boma. Maybe they'll have the new pick during the Tasting and I'll get to try it.

I'm not at Disney yet but I will be soon! Does anyone need anything? ;)
We are staying at the Polynesian but the photos of AKL are seriously killing me. I can't wait to be at the Polynesian but I sure would like to add a day (or 5!) at AKL. NOTHING is available... Spring Break prices are so crazy too! Oh well, we are going to Jiko at least once. My DD might have to pry me out of the lobby but at least I'll get to see and smell the Lodge :cloud9:

Hi Johnsonet, that's exactly what I felt like in January :goodvibes The Poly was fantastic, but in the back of my mind I was always wishing a bit that I would be at AKL - just not when I was sitting on the beach with my book and a drink and every time I looked up I saw the castle in the distance! :goodvibes Or when I was on the resort launch over to the MK or when we arrived at Epcot on the monorail... Have a great trip!!

Hi all,

Just stopping by to say "hi" and sorry about the March 1st snowstorm...probably my fault. See, we got married in 2002 on March 1st, only to have a blizzard hit Chicago that night and the next day. Ever since then it seems there is always a big snowstorm somewhere...so sorry

Just a couple more pics I recently uploaded from out last trip...

That all looks so good! I was thinking about going over to AKL in June -- may have to check it out. Hmmm ... goes off to rethink ADRs.

Ooooh, those look gooooood.... :thumbsup2

RachelTori, pretty-please post your review here?!
