Jambo! This is what greeted me this morning (taken 1 minute ago... )

A week ago we had 8 inches of snow. This week it was in the 80s and our flowering trees are all blooming. And now this...

BEAUTIFUL....... for December or January!!

What is up with this crazy weather? Every time I think I can pack the winter wardrobe away, the joke's on me!

No flurries here, but our 80's are now 40's.

Here in Italy we have sunshine and about 70° F ...
BUT it has been HEAVILY raining until Wednesday ...

I live very close to DLP and could give you advice ... (best deals on hotels and such ...) .

Have a great trip to DLP!! Actually I think, we might have the same distance to DLP - I am the other European posting here: I am from Germany, you are form Italy, aren't you? But still, any tips how to get good deals would always be welcome!

Laura and Diana - has the F&W stay always been at BLT???

Georgia and Virginia will be there later in December. Sorry we'll miss the early December group. A Sanaa meet sounds fun, but we're partial to the Victoria Falls meets!

We'll probably be there mid-December. I'm all for a Victoria Falls or Uzima Springs meet. Or a run-in at Mara for zebra domes.

And, it was 85 degrees here on Tuesday. Today, it is currently 41, raining with a strong North wind. I want my spring back.

OOOOps didn't notice you're from Germany !!!

Anyway we always find that Disney prices we get through the Italian site are WAY HIGHER than those we can get on the UK site ( Disney co UK sells all over Europe , you do not need to be UK citizen).
eg We got a double room at AKL + FREE dining plan (one counter service meal, one table meal and snacks each day of our stay) for this August at about 120 Euro per day !!
I don't know what prices you can get in Germany through your TA ; to us this means a great deal - with all that food for free !!! and our beautiful AKL too !!!!
Now they sell DLP at 40% discount ...

You'd almost think we just couldn't make up our minds where to stay!

Part of it, we're together; part, we have separate room ressies. (I think that's called "keeping the friendship alive!" ) I don't get to stay at BLT, but I'll be at BCV while Diana's at BLT so I'm happy! Plus Diana told me she'd let me "see" her room!!!

Well....... I'm actually staying until October 4th, but I check out of BCV on 10/2 and into CSR for my last 2 nights! (you won't get my BCV room though since I'm staying in a Studio!!) Maybe we can meet up on the 2nd or 3rd!

Well, your "studio" wasn't available for us... hence the 1BR for our stay!
