We are back and had a great trip (despite a few 'bumps' along the way)! I need to catch up on the thread here, but wanted to share a new picture I'll be adding to my siggy soon...

Can't wait to see the pics. We leave in just over 2 weeks, ourselves, to head "home".

Quick question: We talked about whether the hotel decorations would be up by the time you left. Were they? We'd gotten sporadic reports that it looked like deocrations were going up sort of "late", in comparison to years past. I'm hoping you got to see the hotel decked out just before you left!

We too joined DVC last week and are looking forward to staying in Kidani Village, once it is completed. Where did you get that neat AKV icon? Mind if I copy it? Have you figured out the point system yet.....so much information!

FYI, WE LOVE the points system. Makes life so much easier than having a "static week" for our family. I'm no expert, but I'd be happy to answer questions if you got 'em.

I've been trying to move to Orlando for years...My father won't go and my DBF can't go (is divorced w/kids, we cant take them away from their mother, LOL! Even though we'd like to sometimes ) My father says the only way he'd ever move is if we got rich, that way we could have a house here, and a house there...He hates the heat and wants to be here for baseball season.

I could do the two house thing if I were rich. One in and around Orlando, and I think I'd want one somewhere other than where I live now -- maybe Lake Tahoe or something. Might as well dream big, huh? Oh, and I'd still want to stay at the resorts some. Greedy I tell ya!

Nope, it's not greedy! It's fun to dream! I'd buy a bigger house here in Boston, buy a mansion in Orlando (the 7.5 million $ I saw somewhere online ) and I'd still buy a gazillion DVC points....If you're gonna dream, dream big!
