AKL Kidani 2 bedroom, lock off or not?

We are DVC members and are going in February 2018. Me, DH, 2 DS 15 and 12, and my sister. She owns 1/3 of DVC with me and DH, so she gets her own bedroom. Should we do lock off or just standard 2 bedroom? I think the regular 2 bedrooms don't have the extra kitchenette so we'd have more room, but then there are 2 beds in the second bedroom, not a sleeper sofa, so we can't free up space and hid away the extra bed. I know Kidani both types of 2 bedrooms have 3 bathrooms which is key for us. I don't need to lock off my sister, but I wonder if the lock offs are nicer for the single person in our party.

Also if we get magic bands mailed to us and check in on-line, do we get a text with our room number and can we go straight to our room when we get to the resort?

Text to the room happens sometimes, not always.
