AKL Jambo Value Units Still Out of Commission

My family and I were scheduled to stay in a Value 1 bedroom for our annual vacation at the World (Feb15-19) and I got a call earlier this week from member services telling me that the construction at Jambo is behind schedule and the value rooms would still be out of commission for our trip ☹.

There’s a happy ending, though!! We’re being moved to a savanna view 1 bedroom at Kidani!!

I was looking forward to Jambo (I just stayed at Kidani for Marathon Weekend), but I’ll definitely take the extra space and second bathroom .

Just wanted to share, if you’re booked into a Jambo value unit anytime in the next month or so you want to call member services and see what’s up.

Glad it worked out for you! We're staying in a 2 bdrm value @ the end of May/June so I'm sure they will be finished. Did they offer you a chance to stay at Jambo instead of moving to Kidani?

I did ask if any other resorts were an option, only because I’d like to stay somewhere I haven’t stayed before, but the only one available was Kidani. No complaining, though, hubby and daughter haven’t stayed at Kidani yet and they’re going to LOVE the Savanna view
