AKL full in October?

I was trying to book a week at AKL around Columbus Day, and whatever dates I put in, it says no rooms available.
Could it really be totally booked?
Am I wasting my time checking back every day?

I'm wondering if I should wait for the presumed Fall passholders discount and book something else when that comes out, or book another resort now and hopefully something will open up later at AKL?

Wow, that's crazy I thought, surely not but it surely is completely booked for the week leading up to Columbus day. Columbus day through the following week however is wide open. I wouldn't give up hope just yet, people cancel reservations as often as they change socks so I'd keep checking everyday.

I tried arrival on the 10th, 11th, and 12th staying until the 17th and 18th and it showed availability for all of those date combos.

thanks! gonna go try those dates. I really wish the Disney reservations was set up like the airlines- so that if you enter your flexible dates, it shows you what's available, so you don't have to waste time entering every single combination of dates!

I can't thank you enough! I went back and those dates were available, then tried my dates again, and they were available! I think I got a passholder rate, too. I had been trying for a couple of days - it's my daughter's birthday so really wanted those dates! Thanks again!
